Volume Trend Analysis is a proprietary concept built into the software as The Volume Trend Advisor. The Volume Trend Advisor alerts you to market dynamic shifts and gives you a clear picture of the likely price trend change based on the most important tool to analyze markets… Volume. It advises you in real-time of trend changes and allows you to very easily capture large moves from their start, to their conclusion.
In general standard trend, trading is notoriously difficult. While it is very easy to see an established trend, how do you know when one begins? or is ending? The answer is Volume Trend Analysis. The Volume Trend Advisor included in Smart Trader Pro does a dizzying amount of math and analysis in fractions of a second on each bar and lets you know instantly when a trend change is happening.
Example of the Trend Line setting AKA “Profit Plot” enabled which helps to optimize the settings for the Volume Trend Advisor which graphs how the system would have alerted you to entries. Each green line starts a new entry and the resulting trend. Green lines show profitable entries and resulting move to the next exit and new trade entry. Red shows a failed move.
Volume Trend Advisor Provides Real-Time Indications
When a Volume Trend Advisor signal appears, it is immediately known the trend is changing. When a bar closes the indication does a dizzying array of analysis and indicates a trend change on the first tick of the next bar which allows you to get in literally at the first tick of a trend change. A trade can be opened in that direction using the VTA only but I prefer to use it to help validate trade entries for signals using some methods.

The default settings apply to most common time frames and charts and can easily be changed to handle anything. The concept was actually built out on fairly popular markets first (Such as forex and Crypto like Bitcoin and Etherium). Within the indicator is a setting to enable a visual trend line so that you can so you can visualize in real-time how the settings affect the chart to see how your settings look in real-time without leaving the settings window. This is an amazing feature for anyone using the Trading View version of the indicator and is a huge feature not available in other trading platforms.
